About Us

Today’s Teen, the voice of a generation, is a free monthly newspaper written primarily by teens for teens & published in South Florida. Since its inception in 2005, the paper has been successful in catching and keeping the interest of teens throughout the community and beyond, by encouraging them to write about the issues that interest them the most, from politics, religion, community service, and career options, to psychology, sports, movie, book, and concert reviews. Every issue includes an entertainment section with interviews and reviews on the hottest musicians, bands, and/or actors today, and readers will often find exclusive interviews with well-known book authors as well. Also included in the paper and online are sections on poetry, photography, artwork and illustration.

Today’s Teen is published nine-ten times a year and distributed during the school year to educational professionals who sign up to receive the paper directly into their classrooms at middle and high schools throughout Palm Beach County. Educators involved in the areas of language arts, journalism, creative writing, school newspaper and yearbook, television and film production, music, art, guidance, career planning and psychology enjoy incorporating the paper into their curriculum, but teens read it because it’s all about them - their thoughts, their opinions - their voices.

Today’s Teen is also distributed to various retail outlets that cater to teens and their parents, such as movie theaters, malls, hair salons, restaurants and book stores.

Through our website, todaysteenonline.com, we are able to share Today’s Teen with teens from all over the world, and to offer those beyond PBC a place to submit articles, op-ed pieces, features, poetry, photos, illustrations and short fiction.
