Palm Beach County’s Largest Science And Engineering Competition To Take Place December 8-10
The Palm Beach County Science and Engineering Fair will be held December 8-10, 2008 at the South Florida Fairgrounds in Expo West. The Fair is Palm Beach County’s largest science and engineering competition. School fairs are now being held and county regional selections are being made by individual schools.
Monday, December 8, students will register and set up their projects and bridges at the South Florida Fairgrounds. This day is for students, teachers and parents only. Tuesday, December 9, the exhibits will be open for public viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The engineering competition that tests the structural design of bridges will also be held on December 9 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. People wishing to view the exhibits or the engineering competition should enter the Fairgrounds parking at Gate 12. There is no charge for parking or viewing the projects and/or engineering competition. Wednesday, December 10, is judging day and entry is restricted to students, coordinators and judges only.
