Hi all!
Busy wrapping up the November issue and we are already working on the December issue - remember, we work a month ahead of each issue, so if you have material to send in for a particular issue, keep that in mind. You guys are going to love the November issue - besides all the great features and articles and info inside, we are introducing M.E.G. - our educational guide to help you and your parents make some decisions about life after high school. Inside the eight page pullout you’ll find career and college funding advice - you’ll even find out why it’s good idea to visit colleges before you make your decision.
You’ll also find some study tips, and a complete listing of all the college, vocational and alternative schools that are available to you right here in Florida. Before I sign off, just want to ask you to check online for contest info - we’ve got quite a few great contests coming up, and one of them is bound to interest you! Look for the November issues in your school around November 4th or 5th, and be sure to let us know what you thought about it. In the meantime, keep writing!!
Best,
Gwen

Hi!
Hope by now everyone’s gotten a chance to see the second issue of the paper. It’s fantastic! So much to read inside, from an interview with Presidential Democratic Nominee Barack Obama, to an entire section devoted to teen finance, sponsored by the Gold Coast Credit Union. If you haven’t seen a copy of the paper in school, you can check it out online. Just click on zine archives.
Come back to the site often because we are having contests with prizes just about every month, and one of them is guaranteed to interest you. Have you sent in a photo of your pet yet for our “My Pet’s the Cutest!” contest? And have you checked into our first ever fundraiser coming up this next week? Participate with Today’s Teen and Chick-Fil-A and you could score big with community service hours!! That’s October 16th, so contact TT ASAP for how you can participate. Another contest to look for - Write the winning I Love My Community essay and you’ll win two new Blitz Verizon phones - one for you, and one for a friend!!
Other prizes and gift certificates will be awarded as well, including some delicious smelling Daisy Vicious all natural cleansing soap products.
That’s all the news for now - stay tuned for more info - we are always adding, changing, growing, doing on the site, so!!!!
